Now that the 2015-16 NBA season is officially over and we have crowned LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers as champions, we can look forward to the NBA Draft on Thursday, June 23, 2016. While it does not get as much hype as the NFL Draft, we can tell you that it is second in line without much of a competition from the other major sports.

Somehow, the Philadelphia 76ers pulled off another top pick. I am not sure how many they need in order to make the playoffs, but who’s counting. In most cases there are no trades leading up to or during the NBA Draft… but this year feels different. While I am not going to sit here and tell you who will do what (as many so-called experts try to do), but it would not surprise me if teams like the Celtics and Timberwolves make a deal for a solid veteran to get over the hump.

Here is the draft order for Thursday, which will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
